Today it’s 4 days postop. Monday the 28th may I underwent spinal fusion surgery at Aleris in Ängelholm. I spent a little more than 24 hours in the hospital and then it was time to hit the road and get back home again. I did prep for the ride since it’s an hour and forty five minute drive to home. Picked up some medication at the pharmacy on the way also. These first days I’ve been taking a high dose of everything they gave me. I decided early on that I’m not going to be in unnecessary pain. The year leading up to surgery totally wore me out pain wise.

I got instructions to walk and move around but not to overdo it. 500 meters and a max of the double. This mornings workout was a slow power walk to the pier and back home some core exercises. Then it was time for some coffee and a nap.

the answer about what to expect ” I haven’t got the slightest idea”. I just do.

Today the first of Jan 2018 started out along the shore together with my dear friend Katrin. Almost no wind and a couple of degrees celsius.

Im happy to have a friend who inspires me when my inspiration is low. She’s a great artist and takes such artistic -esthetic pictures.

last week we had some quite windy days…stormy cold wet days….not nice at all…. but after a winter storm I always go treasure hunting along the shore

windy cold and dark….even in the morning

but I found some treasures ( as always)

a big piece of amber

and a piece of an old rusty can.

the clouds where all over and so low this morning…I think the sun was out approx 15 minutes…that was it for the day !

if visiting Abu Dhabi you have got to squeeze in a visit to the grand mosque. it’s magical and soooo beautiful. (reminded me of Taj Mahal)

is the highest one in Sweden. Situated at 187.5 meters and it dates all the way back to 1561. Since 1751 more than 200 ships have become wrecks outside the horn with it’s treacherous rocks. Nowadays it’s a popular diving site because of the wrecks and very clear water.

all of a sudden I saw the sun right in the middle of the light station. Now that’s what I call solar energy.

stunning scenery. We where here early in the morning so we couldn’t climb up into the light station since it doesn’t open until 11.00 !!
