Tikli Bottom, a home away from home.

During the short holiday, Dussehra  we thought we would escape home for a day to relax, enjoy some good food and see something else so we booked a night at Tikli Bottom. When checking out I just wished that we had booked another night ! Annie and Martin who built this beautiful home in the 90’s, are just wonderful people who run this home away from home. We met interesting and fascinating people from different corners of the world, walked the garden, swam in the pool, did a short hike in the hills and got to see a photoshoot for GLITZ magazine. Before driving home Annie gave us a guided tour of the village school, called Martin’s school, that  they run.

I’m so happy that we got to meet them and that there are people like Annie and Martin in this world. They do make a difference.

  1. Hello Susan, I have been at Tikli Bottom as well and it is a beautiful place. Annie and Martin are charming people and it is a great place to relax. The food is also delicious. We should spread the word for this wonderful home. Regards, Anke
